League treasurer Frank Bell has been presented with a salver to mark his contribution to the league.

Frank is stepping down as treasurer following Consett’s promotion at the end of last season.

League chairman Glenn Youngman said:  “On behalf of everybody connected with our league I would like to thank Frank for all the work he has done, not only looking after the funds of the league but for all the help he has given to our clubs – whether it was for business plans or where to go for grants for ground improvements.

“The good news is that Frank will still be around as an FA consultant to offer help and advice help to our clubs but those who are trying to win promotion to our league.

“We wish him all the best for the future.”
