EASINGTON ANNOUNCE NEW MANAGER
Easington Colliery AFC are delighted to announce the appointment of
Lee Haldane as First Team Manager.
Following a vigorous application and interview process, Easington
Colliery AFC can today confirm the appointment of Lee Haldane as First
Team Manager.
Lee will be assisted by Paul Wardle and Stuart Niven, with Tom Goodey
remaining at the club as physio.
Haldane joins the club having had plenty of success managing in the
Sunderland Sunday League, and he was part of the management team at
Ashbrooke Belford House during their time in the Wearside League.
Haldane will be assisted by Paul Wardle, who was recently captain at
Bedlington Terriers and has had a vast Northern League career playing
for the likes of Sunderland RCA, Chester-le-Street Town and Hebburn
Town.
Stuart Niven will also act as an assistant manager to Haldane. Stu
originally joined the Colliers at the end of 2018 as an assistant
manager, and the former Scotland youth international will be
continuing in that position alongside the new management team.
Long-serving physio Tom Goodey will also continue to provide his
excellent services for the club.
Lee and Paul will meet the squad for the first time at the weekend,
before pre-season training will commence afterwards.
