2026/27 FIXTURES RELEASED
The fixtures for the 2026/27 season have been released with the season starting on Saturday 25th July 2026.
League debutants Seaton Carew start their Northern League journey with a home tie at Hornby Park against AFC Newbiggin whilst returning Stokesley SC make the trip to Newcastle University. Due to having a new pitch installed, Stokesley SC will be playing away from home until November.
In Division One, both newly promoted teams start the season at home with Redcar Town welcoming Newcastle Blue Star who just missed out on the play-offs last season and Yarm & Eaglescliffe hosting Newcastle Benfield. Whickham are only able to host home games midweek until September due to sharing their ground with Whickham Cricket Club.
There is a full round of fixtures in the first midweek of the season over the three evenings including Shildon hosting Whitley Bay on Tuesday 28th July, two of last years’ play-off contenders.
League chairman Glenn Youngman said: “The publication of the fixture list is eagerly awaited by both clubs and supporters, as it signals that the new season is fast approaching.”
“It’s clear there will be some exciting matches in the coming months, and I’d like to wish all clubs every success for the season ahead.”
