CHESTER-LE-STREET UNITED GROUND SHARE – UPDATED
Chester-le-Street United will be ground sharing with Sunderland West End at the Sunderland Hub until further notice.
The move comes due to inadequate floodlights at the Riverside ground in Chester-le-Street and follows discussions between the league, club and local council to try to resolve the issue.
The club has also been told by the FA that they would have to ground share if the issue is not resolved by September 30.
Update: Saturday’s game against Willington will be played at the Riverside ground in Chester-le-Street before they start the ground share for subsequent home matches.
