DIVISION TWO SEASON EXTENDED

Due to a backlog of fixtures caused by a series of postponements in Division Two, four fixtures have been re-arranged for the week commencing Monday, April 24.
The season was due to end next Saturday, April 22 – a date set by the FA Alliance and Leagues committees – but due to a number of leagues facing a backlog of fixtures, the FA has allowed leagues to extend the season.
In all, there are five outstanding fixtures in the second division that have been postponed due to waterlogged pitches.  These have now been re-arranged for the following dates:
Thursday 20th April
Washington         v        Bedlington Terriers               (from 11/04)
 Monday 24th April
Brandon United       v        Chester-le-Street Town    (from 15/04)
Jarrow       v       Esh Winning                                    (from 15/04)
Redcar Town         v        Bedlington Terriers             (from 15/04)
Tuesday 25th April 2023
Washington         v        Blyth Town                           (from 15/04)
The arrangements for the Division Two play-off semi-finals and final will be announced in due course.
Barring any further postponements, Division One fixtures will finish by the April 22 deadline.
